Scott C. Kennedy, Owner & Broker, is a Bay-Area native who first came to the Truckee / Lake Tahoe area more than 45 years ago as a teenage snow-ski enthusiast. His uncle was involved with 
the initial development of Northstar-at-TahoeTM and built one of Northstar’s first cabins.
A local resident for more than a decade, Scott knows the Truckee and north Lake Tahoe areas inside-out. His negotiating skills and contractual know-how produce superior results. “In a real estate deal, every item in the transaction presents an opportunity for negotiation and I take full advantage of each item to obtain the best price and terms for my clients. Scott is a Vietnam-era veteran, selected from his Company of 200 and honored with the Outstanding Graduate Award from the United States Army. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Business Economics, with post-graduate studies in Real Estate. While enrolled, Scott was the President of the campus Student Programs Board, Vice-President of the Student Senate, sat as Student Representative on faculty committees of Instruction & Student Services, and was awarded the Outstanding Student Service Award. Scott has also served as an Officer & Director for several community service organizations. For hobbies Scott enjoys snow-skiing, fishing, and photography. He volunteers as a Search & Rescue Pilot for the Lake Tahoe and Sierra Nevada Mountains.
