Scott C. Kennedy, Owner & Broker, is a Bay-Area native who came to the Truckee / Lake Tahoe area more t
han 40 years ago as a teenage snow-ski enthusiast. His uncle was involved with the initial marketing of Northstar-at-TahoeTM and built one of its first cabins. The years that followed include summer boating on Lake Tahoe, fishing, golf, mountain biking, and horse-camping along the Tahoe Rim & Pacific Crest Trails.
A full-time local for many years, Scott knows Truckee and north Lake Tahoe inside-and-out. His negotiating skills and contractual know-how produce results. “In a real estate deal, every item in the transaction presents an opportunity for negotiation and I take full advantage to obtain the best price and terms for my clients. Scott is a Vietnam-era veteran, selected from his Company of 200 and honored with the Outstanding Graduate Award from the United States Army. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Business Economics. Scott has served as an Officer & Director for several community service organizations. He enjoys skiing, fishing the local lakes & reservoirs, hiking to the top of our many high mountain peaks, mountain biking, playing golf, and volunteers as a Search & Rescue Pilot for the high Sierra Mountains based at the Truckee Airport.
