Scott C. Kennedy, Owner & Broker, is a Bay-Area native who first came to the Truckee / Lake Tahoe area more t
han 40 years ago as a teenage snow-ski enthusiast. His uncle was involved with the initial marketing of Northstar-at-TahoeTM and built one of its first cabins.
A full-time local for many years, Scott knows Truckee and north Lake Tahoe inside-out. His negotiating skills and contractual know-how produce results. “In a real estate deal, every item in the transaction presents an opportunity for negotiation and I take full advantage of this to obtain the best price and terms for my clients. Scott is a Vietnam-era veteran, selected from his Company of 200 and honored with the Outstanding Graduate Award from the United States Army. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Business Economics, was Vice-President of his Student Senate, sat as student representative on faculty commitees of Instruction & Student Services, and was awarded the Outstanding Student Service Awared. Scott has served as an Officer & Director for several community service organizations. For hobbies Scott enjoys snow-skiing, fishing, and photography. He also volunteers as a Search & Rescue Mission Pilot for the Lake Tahoe and Sierra Nevada Mountain areas.
