Donner Lake
Formed by a glacier and offering breathtaking views, the Donner Lake community offers four-season recreation activities and a family-oriented community. The area also serves as a popular year-round rental income area. The lake is roughly 600 feet deep, almost 3 miles long and approximately 1/2 mile wide. This beautiful setting includes both lakefront and lake-view homes. Recreation includes several beaches, fishing, kayaking, sailing, wave runners, boating and waterskiing. The west-end of the lake includes a public beach, boat launch, playground and snack bar. The area west of the lake is a popular spot for rock climbers. The Beach Club provides a private beach to property owners through paid membership’s, a snow play area, the Clubhouse Bar & Grill, and the Lodge Restaurant.
